Description

Das Max-Planck-Institut für Chemische Energiekonversion (abgekürzt MPI CEC) ist eine Forschungseinrichtung der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaften e. V. mit Sitz in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Primäres Forschungsziel ist die Erforschung der grund-legenden chemischen Prozesse der Energieumwandlung, um so zur Entwicklung neuer und leistungsfähiger Katalysatoren beitragen zu können. Im Rahmen eines Projekts werden Stahlwerksabgase gereinigt und für die Methanolsynthese verwendet. Das Stahlwerksabgas wird gereinigt und zusammen mit Wasserstoff aus der Elektrolyse einer Methanolsynthese-Modellanlage zugeführt. die Aufgabe ist es, die Qualität der Gase für den industriellen Einsatz sicherzustellen. Für die quantitative Analyse hochkomplexer industrieller Abgase vor und nach dem Reinigungsprozess benötigen wir ein robustes und präzises Analysemessgerät für die Non-Target-Analytik von Stahlwerksgasen.
