Market Consultation - Metering Data Management System
TenneT, the Dutch Transmission System Operator (TSO), is preparing to replace its current Metering Data Management (MDM) system, which plays a crucial role in the validation, allocation, and processing of metering data. To inform this transition, TenneT is launching a market consultation to explore the availability and suitability of standard software solutions. The objective is to assess how well existing market offerings can meet TenneT’s functional and regulatory requirements, with minimal customization. The future MDM system must support key grid operator processes, integrate into TenneT’s IT landscape, and comply with Dutch MFFBAS XML standards. It should also offer advanced workflow, dashboard, and visualization capabilities for managing metering data. Through this consultation, TenneT seeks valuable insights from potential suppliers regarding the feasibility of meeting these requirements with standard functionality, and to identify areas where customization may be necessary.
