In the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, approximately 20,000 new homes will be built until 2040, along with an increase in work locations and facilities. To facilitate this growth, optimizing the traffic structures is necessary to be able to continue to handle traffic properly. On 19 October 2023, the Haarlemmermeer City Council adopted the Traffic Structure Plan (VSP) for Hoofddorp. This plan describes how the municipality wants to keep mobility in Hoofddorp liveable, safe and accessible until 2040. Two measures that will not be tendered out publicly at European level from the SPR early next year in one call for tenders are a planning study for both the; 1.
