Description

The Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science (MPG) is a non-profit research organization funded mainly by public funds. It currently maintains and operates 84 institutes and other research institutions of different sizes, structures and tasks throughout Germany, which are mainly dedicated to basic research in the natural sciences and humanities. The subject of the service to be awarded is engineering services in the field of ELT technology for technical branch offices of the General Administration of the Max Planck Society. The contract is concluded as a framework agreement in accordance with § 21 VgV. The subject-matter of the procurement procedure includes the engineering services to be provided as a so-called ‘technical branch’ in the field of ELT technology in the context of ongoing construction maintenance, maintenance and repair of technical building equipment and installations in accordance with the draft contract provided. The contractual services are based on §§ 53 – 56 HOAI. The Technical Branch supports the Max Planck Society in the maintenance of its buildings. Construction maintenance is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Max Planck Society for Construction Maintenance. In addition, during the duration of the framework agreement, the contracting authority also intends to award planning services for construction work to the contractor. The services are usually carried out during ongoing operation. In the provision of services, not only the special requirements of the highly installed buildings and the corresponding technical equipment, but also the usual work processes in research and science must be taken into account. In this respect, the Max Planck Society not only attaches importance to the fact that applicants can demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of science and research, but also have experience in carrying out maintenance and repair measures during ongoing operation. The services to be provided must comply at least with the generally accepted rules of technology and meet all the necessary requirements of cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency and sustainability. By submitting a request to participate, candidates declare that they are able to provide the services within the specified period and, in particular, that they have the necessary technical, human, material and temporal resources to do so. The special requirements for the provision of services may make it necessary to be available frequently/in the short term at the request of the client for consultations on site or in Munich. This lot includes the following MPIs: MBIO (Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology) By submitting a request to participate, applicants declare that they are able to provide the services within the period specified below and that they have the necessary technical, human and material resources to do so. Remuneration is paid by means of a flat-rate fee. Start date of the contract: 01.01.2027 The list of the corresponding estimation and maximum fees can be found in Annex 01 to the procurement documents.
