Description

This contract concerns a works contract. This contract concerns: Renewal of tracks and track equipment: • Breakdown and construction of tracks; • Excavating and reconstructing the bed; • Breakdown and construction of railway equipment; • Performing aluminothermal welding; • Provision of hydraulic track-side cranes and crane operators; • Provision of qualified railway workers; • Regulating the voltages; • Construction of the footpaths; • Cleaning of the yard. Renewal of overhead contact line and overhead contact line constructions: • Breaking up and installation of overhead lines and other cables in the framework of the works; • Installation of overhead contact line structures and their equipment; • Breaking down overhead contact line structures in the working area; • Shifts of overhead lines; • Demolition of overhead lines and unwinding of new overhead lines; • Breaking down and repositioning of fastening irons on the bridge of the R71 (study by contractor). Renewal of signalling and signalling equipment • Laying of power, telephone, signalling, grounding, control and signalling cables; • Introducing the cables into the different chain, distribution and signal boxes; • Installation, equipping, wiring and connection of signal and distribution boxes; • Connecting the cables to the gears in the signalling and supply chain, the signal boxes and the signalling devices in the track; • Positioning, equipping and connecting track signals; • Installation and connection of all kinds of safety devices related to the signalling device; • Installation of trenches and ducts where deemed necessary to achieve an orderly state; • Removal of old cables; • Removal of old signalling systems; • Clean up and restore the site to an orderly state.
