Obernburg-Elsenfeld station in km 18.467 and Kleinwallstadt in km 14.534 are located on the Aschaffenburg Hbf railway line – Miltenberg West (route 5220). Line 5220 is a single-track, non-electrified main line with a line speed of 120 km/h. The line is continuously controlled from Klingenberg to Miltenberg by the ESTW-R ZSB2000 with operating station in Miltenberg. Background of the project is a signal box extension of the control center Miltenberg. Only the relay interlocking in the Obernburg-Elsenfeld station with remote position Bf Kleinwallstadt are still occupied.
