Description

The Ruhrbahn GmbH secures the mobility of the citizens on behalf of the city and connects the individual districts with bus, subway and tram. She is a member of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr. One of the tasks is the maintenance and construction of the infrastructure for buses and trams. This refers to the route networks in the city of Essen and Mülheim as well as to the associated construction facilities, depots, administrative buildings and a large number of smaller properties. The Ruhrbahn GmbH modernizes the infrastructure at the location on the Ruhrallee by various structural measures. Part of the projects initiated for the aforementioned purpose is the construction of a new waste collection point (RSS), a hazardous materials collection point (GSS) and a new commercial vehicle canopy (NFÜ).
