Description

De gemeente Dinkelland als aanbestedende dienst wil middels deze aanbesteding een architect selecteren voor de opdracht clustering van de Veldkamp, de Drs. M.L. Kingschool en de Alexanderschool op de locatie Denekamp West. Denekamp heeft momenteel vier basisscholen. De bestaande schoolgebouwen zijn verouderd en er is behoefte aan toekomstbestendige onderwijshuisvesting voor de vier scholen. Uitgangspunt hierin is om te komen tot twee nieuwe onderwijslocaties: Plangebied Aveskamp voor de Zevenster; en Een clustering van de Veldkamp, de Drs. M.L. Kingschool en de Alexanderschool op de hoek van de Molendijk- Oranjestraat. In juli 2023 heeft de gemeente Dinkelland door middel van een raadsbesluit ingestemd met de plannen zoals hierboven benoemd. Dit raadsbesluit gezamenlijk met de Ontwikkelingsvisie Onderwijshuisvesting Denekamp waarop het besluit genomen is dienen dan ook als achtergrond en aanleiding voor het project.
