Description

The planned demolition measure serves to clear the construction site for an extension of the ev. Clinic of Gelsenkirchen. This includes the demolition of the former district court Gelsenkirchen (3- or 5-storey building with hip/saddle roof or flat roof) as well as an adjoining 2-storey institution building with various extensions. Furthermore, there is an underground former air protection room (bunker) from the 2nd floor, which is also to be demolished, on the site. World war. The buildings of the former district court are partially basemented and directly adjacent to the street space (walkway and street) of Overwegstraße.
