Description

The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking providers for the provision of new domiciliary care services for older people and adults with disabilities. The specification has 3-main service elements; domiciliary care, rapid response, and home-based respite for carers. Providers are expected to be able to deliver all or some of these elements. The Council will operate a flexible framework with 3 tiers of provider, and a mix of area based 'Lead' provider and city-wide coverage. Inclusion on the framework will also provide occasional access to related special projects, pilots, and help Commissioners reduce 'spot' purchases. The framework is dynamic and will periodically open to allow new providers to join, and for existing providers to amend their service offer. Minimum selection criteria will apply. Refer to the tender documents for further information. Contract term — 3 years plus up to 2 further 3-years, up to May 2028. Procedure — ‘Light Touch Regime’.
