Description

The aim of the competition is to propose attractive architectural solutions for the task: ‘Construction of a year-round sports and leisure infrastructure over Lake Krzyw in Olsztyn’, within the boundaries indicated on the map (Annex 10 to the rules of the competition) concerning: building and ‘small architecture’, with particular reference to the need to create opportunities for winter and water sports, both in the open format and in the framework of sports clubs and training centres, and to build a sports and leisure base for active and specialised tourism to attract more tourists outside the short summer season. The above actions must comply with the detailed description of Priority Axis 2 Tourism, sub-measure 2.1.3. “Sport and leisure infrastructure” and other guidelines of the Managing Authority for the Warmia and Mazura ROP competition (sub-measure 2.1.3.). The development of an urban-architectural concept covering the entire area covered by the competition for the design of spatial solutions and the possible adaptation of existing facilities must take into account the competitive guidelines and the provisions of the IPP.
