Description

The objective of the Global Project “Green Innovation Hubs for Agriculture and Food” (GIAE) is to increase the income of smallholder farms, to promote employment, particularly in processing, and to improve the regional supply of food through innovation in the agri-food sector. To this end, the programme promotes Green Innovation Networks with innovation partners on the ground. Green innovation hubs/networks have emerged in 14 selected partner countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, India, Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Zambia, Togo and Tunisia.
