The Province of Utrecht participates in the National Programme for Specific Benefits (SpUk) for Commercial Real Estate, which runs until 1 May 2027. There are two programmes within this SpUk, including the SME relief programme (OMKB). The province of Utrecht has the task of unburdening 591 micro and small SMEs by making their business premises more sustainable. The province intends to contract Tenderers of energy scans for commercial premises and, where relevant, the business processes (as included in the EML list and including relevant non-statutory measures) in order to be allowed to join a ‘digital map box’.
