The subject of the contract is the lifeguard services of the Municipality of Thermaikos for the bathing season from 01-06-2025 to 30-09-2025. More specifically, provision is made for the lifeguard service to be carried out in the coastal zone of the Municipality of Thermaikos [Peraia- Memory Square, Perea-Kochili, Neoi Epivates, Agia Triada PIKPA, Epanomi-River, Epanomi-Palioura and Michaniona-Tourpali (using only lifeguard equipment and medical equipment)] in the areas and in the manner described in ANNEX I (17/2024 STUDY). In particular, the following services are provided: ­ Equipping each life-saving tower – a total of nine – with life-saving supplies, medical supplies, life-saving craft, VHF, flags. ­ Manning the nine lifeguard towers on the shores of the Municipality of Thermaikos with one lifeguard (one per tower). ­ Patrol of the Epanomi River coast by a lifeguard coordinator/supervisor, in accordance with Article 10 of Presidential Decree 71/2020. ­ Provision of immediate assistance by two motorised high-speed craft on which the operator of the vessel and a lifeguard will be located. ­ Demarcation of the bathers' area in a sea area of 400 m., 750 m. and 1000 m. on all the above-mentioned beaches. ­ Provision of lifeguard equipment and medical supplies at Michaniona-Turbali beach. ­ Provision of 9 lifeguard podiums for the period from 01-06-2025 to 30-09-2025. ­ Provision of 2 personal vessels – marine mopeds of 2.75 cm horsepower of at least eighty (80) horsepower, at least two (2) seats for the period from 01-06-2025 to 30-09-2025. The above services are considered necessary to achieve the safety of bathers during the bathing season, and to avoid imposing legal penalties on the Municipality for classifying the coasts as busy, in accordance with Presidential Decree 71/2020.
