Description

Das Projekt besteht aus drei Gebäudevolumen, welche durch ein Vordach miteinander verbunden sind und so ein städtebauliches Ganzes bilden. Nach Süden hin bestehen die Gebäude aus 8 bzw. 12 Meter hohen Hallen. Diese orientieren sich durch grossflächige Öffnungen Richtung Grosse Allmend und sind für die Ausbildung der Truppen sowie für den Schutz von Fahrzeugen und technischen Ausbildungsinstallationen gedacht. Nördlich sind den Hallen zweigeschossige Ausbildungs- und Theoriesäle mit dazugehörenden Nebenräumen angefügt, welche über eine Lochfassade mit diffusem Tageslicht belichtet werden. Durch eine Gliederung und Schuppung der Fassade wird die Länge der Fassade gebrochen und unterteilt. Die Gebäude werden in kostengünstiger Holz-(System-)Bauweise erstellt und bieten einen hohen Grad an Flexibilität und Präfabrikation.
