Description

The Danish National Police intends - by direct award - to enter into a contract with Microsoft Denmark ApS, regarding "Microsoft Unified support". The support agreement is necessary in connection with the handling of technical errors, etc., in relation to the existing Microsoft IT environment. The agreement will, among other things, provide access to technical support and assistance, which cannot be provided by suppliers other than Microsoft, as they, as a software manufacturer, have exclusive rights to the product. Microsoft is the only company that has direct access to data centers and product groups across Microsoft technology and platforms. It is the National Police’s assessment that the conditions laid down in Section 80(3)(2) and (3) of the Public Procurement Act (lack of competition for technical/exclusive rights reasons) for using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice are met. The contract will not be concluded before the expiry of 10 calendar days with effect from the day following the day on which this notice is published.
