Finland-Tampere: Vocational rehabilitation services
The subject-matter of the contract is the purchase of rehabilitative work for Tampere.
Rehabilitative work activities are activities under the Rehabilitative Work Activities Act (189/2001). Rehabilitation work is organised by the municipality. The municipality may organise the rehabilitation work itself, obtain it from another municipality or association of municipalities, a registered association, a registered foundation, a state agency or a registered religious community. Rehabilitative work cannot be organised within the undertaking.
Rehabilitative work is aimed at improving the conditions of employment and life management of the client.
Rehabilitative work is not an employment relationship. Customers are not remunerated and their livelihood is based on unemployment benefit.
The procurement includes the following service products:
1. Total Liability Services
(1a) rehabilitative work activities geared towards work and training;
2. Personalised rehabilitative work activities.
