Description

The project perimeters are to be upgraded with the aim of wetland regeneration. By lifting and closing drains, the surfaces should be rewetted as evenly and permanently as possible. By removing the mineralized topsoil, nutrient-poor conditions are to be created in order to create ecologically high-quality and species-rich wet habitats. The revitalisation of the estuary area is intended to enhance the severely impaired stream in the delta area, improve longitudinal connectivity, ensure flood safety and do not affect the adjacent nationally protected bogs. Services: Provision of planning services in SIA phases 31-33 (construction project and approval procedure). Optionally, the SIA phases 41-53 (invitation to tender until commissioning) can also be commissioned. Specific requirements: The national and cantonal protected areas or inventory objects located in or adjacent to the project perimeter must be taken into account. This means that in the course of project development, it must be ensured that these objects are not adversely affected by the project. This also includes the hydrological integrity, or the improvement of water availability and ecological quality. Requirements for the contractor: Sound knowledge of ecological planning and target definition of terrestrial and aquatic habitats as well as moor hydrology and hydraulic engineering.
