Description

The roofs of building B28, which date from the construction of the building (1978), are heavily degraded and need to be renovated. Several roofs of the B28 have an asbestos sub-roof in fibrous form, making the renovation of these roofs particularly complex. Asbestos removal is carried out via a framework agreement that ULiège has concluded with a asbestos remover. The present work consists of: - the replacement of the slate roof covering with zinc sheets and the thermal insulation of the roofs; including the replacement of the asbestos sub-roof; - securing the roofs for subsequent maintenance; the replacement of slate façade cladding with zinc sheets and the thermal insulation of cladding; - the replacement of the wooden frames included in the new zinc cladding with aluminium frames with new glazing, the assembly with high-performance thermal insulation; - the renovation of existing wooden frames, excluding new zinc cladding with new glazing, the high-performance thermally insulated assembly; - replacement of external shutters (south facades); - the creation of windows to increase the level of natural illumination in the premises served (several classrooms); - electrical retrofitting and the replacement of luminaires with energy-efficient LED luminaires; - replacement of the outdated fire detection system; - upgrading of ventilation equipment where necessary; - the interior finishing of the premises under roof.
