As a result of the Compact Rijksdienst Implementation Programme, RIVM was designated as a procurement implementation centre (IUC) of the central government at the end of 2012. Objectives of category management include knowledge bundling and purchasing cooperation per product group. In the context of procurement cooperation in the field of laboratory procurement, the joint needs for laboratory and medical gases of the participating organisations are now being examined.
