Spatial design research for all uneven-floor (railway) intersections between the conceptually designed bicycle bridge Hoge Weg/Singel and the Maïsstraat near the Wondelgemse Meersen
The purpose of this procurement procedure is to appoint a contractor to carry out a spatial design study for all level crossings (road/rail crossings), namely: 1. the junction Afrikalaan-Vliegtuiglaan, 2. the Meulesteedsesteenweg-Muidepoort, 3. the Terneuzenlaan, 4. the Wiedauwkaai 5. the Maïsstraat. This spatial design research also involves testing the technical and financial feasibility of the conceptually designed bicycle bridge at the Hogeweg/Singel junction, also examining whether another unlevelled solution is technically and financially feasible without sacrificing cycling comfort. 6. Bicycle bridge node Hogeweg/Singel. Spatial design research for the planned railway junction L58 with the Voorhaven (water/rail junction) 7. Rail crossing with the Voorhaven. Spatial design study for the planned bicycle crossing with the L58 railway between junction Afrikalaan-Vliegtuiglaan (1) and the railway crossing Meulesteedsesteenweg-Muidepoort (2), cfr. ‘framework plan for the provisional southern port ring of April 2021’ 8. Bicycle crossing with the railway as a connection between Houtdokpark and Muide/Meulestede.
