Description: The builder in this contract will take CO2eq emissions into consideration in addition to price. This will help reduce the environmental consequences of production and paving of asphalt. Competition sum; i.e. the sum used to determine who is awarded the contract is calculated by the tender price being given a mark-up based on the amount of CO2eq emissions. The tenderer with the lowest combined CO2eq emission will not receive any mark-up in the competition sum. The difference in emissions between your tender and the tender with the lowest emissions is calculated for the other tenderers. This difference is priced at 7.50 NOK/kg CO2eq. The impact will thus be the difference given in kg CO2eq multiplied by 7.50 NOK/kg.
