Description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition; a call for competition may be placed within the calendar year 2025. In advance of a call for competition the Department of Transport may invite submissions from companies / organisations with expertise and capability relating to the provision of the Services listed in this Notice. As part of this PMC process the Department of Transport may take market soundings to identify market capabilities, supply cost factor and general market dynamics by way of publication of a separate Request for Information (RFI). This process is a statement of potential contracts during the calendar year 2025 but is not a commitment to purchase. Details of individual procurements pursuant to this notice will be advertised in due course. The Department of Transport does not require a response to this Prior Information Notice. Included Services: • Consultancy assistance in the establishment and operation of a Working Group to implement Action 12a of the draft ‘Moving Together’ strategy (https://www.gov.ie/en/consultation/b51b0-moving-together-a-strategic-approach-to-the-improved-efficiency-of-the-transport-system-in-ireland/) to improve opportunities for freight consolidation, last-mile green delivery and the use of technology and Action 9 of the Road Haulage Strategy (https://assets.gov.ie/static/documents/irelands-road-haulage-strategy-20222031.pdf) to examine policy options, including funding supports, to reduce carbon emissions through operational and digital efficiencies and assess how they will play a role in Ireland’s journey to net zero. • Research on potential impact of advertising bans on vehicle sales / Market segmentations. • User research on best design for Car Emissions/Efficiency Labels. • Consultancy and ICT Software Procurement for delivery of Sports Sector Fan Engagement travel planning platforms. • Stakeholder Engagement Management for recalibrated CAP Policy Pathways. • PSO Air Services Contract. • Consultant for Capital Project Appraisal. • Consultant report re capacity at Dublin Airport (long-term capacity). • Audit Management Software System. • Irish Maritime Radio Licence System (IMRAD) development and support. • Print/Mailing (Tax discs) (Security printed matter).
