Description

The tender for the innovation partnership bio-enriched asphalt (IP-asphalt) is an initiative of the National Approach to Biobased Building (NABB). Building Balance is commissioned by the ministries of LNV, VRO, KGG and I&W to implement the NABB for biobased solutions in the GWW sector. The assignment within the framework of this innovation partnership is carried out on behalf of a coalition of clients. This coalition was established with the aim of jointly accelerating the transition to a more sustainable infrastructure by stimulating the application of bio-enriched asphalt in the GWW sector. The municipality of Rotterdam is a contracting authority on behalf of the client coalition and supervises the procedure. The IP asphalt focuses specifically on the application of coatings in asphalt pavements, because coatings are applied by a wide group of governments. The IP asphalt consists of two (2) plots: Lot 1: SMA asphalt pavement Lot 2: AC Surf asphalt pavement See further tender guide
