The extension of the MESH Network system of the RDDP/YDN concerns the installation of fixed transceivers in the area of Attica that can cooperate with the corresponding on-board or others installed randomly (ad hoc) depending on the operational need, thus creating a private network that allows the transfer of data such as image streams, audio, data. In addition, this network will work collaboratively with existing and new image transfer sensors, special image management software, image flow loggers and other supporting equipment.This network will dramatically increase operational competence and autonomy as it allows the action of the Service's staff without relying on private providers to carry out technical operations to collect information and surveys.
