Description

The Regionaltangente West (RTW) is a new tangential rail link in local and neighbourhood traffic in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region. It serves to improve public rail passenger transport by connecting the western districts of the city of Frankfurt am Main as well as the surrounding cities and municipalities and to improve intermodal connections to Frankfurt am Main Airport. In this context, new track connections and civil engineering structures are being built that require a conversion of the existing overhead line system of DB InfraGO AG. The subject of this call for tenders is construction-preparatory overhead contact line work on line 3611 of DB InfraGO AG.
