Description

University College London is leading a tender for the supply of periodicals on behalf of a consortium of universities consisting of University College London, Imperial College London and University of Oxford.
This agreement will include the supply of periodicals (both English and non-English language), internet databases, e-journals, consolidation services and non-sterling periodicals.
It is envisaged that this agreement will include some or all of the following services:
— Ordering, cancellation and renewal of subscriptions;
— Handling of claims and queries;
— Consolidation services;
— Handling of access arrangements to databases;
— Negotiation with publishers to keep costs low;
— Online bibliographic and subscriptions database;
— Potential appointment of a prime contractor status in which contractor is responsible for sourcing, access and handling of all of an institution"s periodicals requirements;
— Proactive action to keep costs low.
The Consortium wishes to appoint a number of suppliers for the supply of periodicals under a framework agreement.
