Description

According to a recalculation according to RIL 805 -2009, the now dilapidated passenger tunnel old, Rostock main station, has currently been found to be stable from a static point of view; However, under the condition that individual construction damage is repaired during the year. This has not yet been done. Thus, the structural condition of the old passenger tunnel, Rostock Central Station, has deteriorated significantly over the past 10 years due to the massive defect situation and extreme leaks. Among other things, there are rusts on the rolling beam base flanges and the calottes. A new construction is required by 2030 at the latest, as there is a likelihood of operational restrictions until the closure of the tracks without basic repair measures. These can also occur well before 2030, depending on how the damage to the building develops.
