The assignment includes monitoring of bumblebees and day butterflies in forests and open lowlands in three current regions in Norway (east, south and Trøndelag), as well as the establishment of a new region in 2022. The program shall provide a data basis for the nature index, a professional system for ecological status, and can be used as a knowledge base for assessing measures.
