The city of Nuremberg has taken over a responsible heritage of national importance with the buildings on the former Reichsparteitagsgelände. The Dutzendteich train station is the central point of contact for the visitors of the Zeppelinfeld learning location. The planning area comprises the former station building with an open platform hall (west wing), a two-storey central building and a single-storey east wing. It also includes the associated outdoor facilities. The plot runs on the northeastern side along the tracks of the Deutsche Bahn; in the southwest it is bounded by the Zeppelinstraße (total length approx. 220 m, width approx. 18,0 m and 38,0 m).
