The B 19 bypass Meiningen 2. BA, 2. TA is included as a priority project in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030. The 4,068 m long new building of the 2nd section of the 2nd The construction phase closes the gap between the B 19 in the north of Meiningen and the already completed construction phases of the bypass. It bypasses the district town of Meiningen to the east and connects the surrounding area to the north and west with the A 71 motorway. The purpose of this call for tenders is to collect information on local fauna. Project-specific faunistic studies are foreseen at design and permit planning level for the following species or groups of species: Birds, wild cats, beavers, otters, hazel mouse, amphibians, reptiles, butterflies, xylobionte beetles as well as cross-species tree caves and forest structure mapping. The faunistic services are the basis for further landscape planning contributions (e.g. UVS, LBP and species protection contribution). The mapping work must be carried out over two years of recording; if necessary, recommendations for action and advisory services on faunistic specialist questions must be provided as part of further planning.
