Description

The subject of the work is to carry out expert extermination of undesirable vegetation around railway lines and sidings within the specified scope of the contracting authority. The aim is to ensure safe and smooth operation of rail transport, while protecting infrastructure from damage caused by vegetation. The contractor shall carry out the work in such a way as to ensure long-term efficiency and minimise subsequent maintenance costs. Part of the work is a regular inspection of vegetation status in individual regions according to the schedule set by the contracting authority. On the basis of this information, the Contractor shall propose and implement the most appropriate means of intervention. Selective spraying will be used, where the herbicide is applied only to weed sites, not across the board. This procedure will ensure a more environmentally friendly approach while increasing the effectiveness of the intervention. The Supplier is obliged to use only approved products and technologies in accordance with legal regulations and safety standards. Part of the work is also mechanical removal of stands where chemical application is not suitable. Work will be carried out in such a way as not to disrupt the operation of railway lines and sidings. The Contractor shall ensure coordination with track operators and respect their operational constraints. After each intervention, an efficiency check and documentation of the work carried out will be carried out. The contracting authority shall be kept regularly informed of the progress, extent and results of the interventions carried out. The scope of the work shall include all sections of lines and sidings listed in the Annex. The Contractor shall provide sufficient personnel and technical capacity to carry out the work within the required timeframe. Part of the work is also a record of the means used, working methods and results of the intervention. During the implementation of the work, emphasis will be placed on minimising chemical loads, protecting water resources and workers' safety. The contractor shall also carry out an ex post evaluation of the effectiveness and propose any improvements for the next period. The result of the work will be a long-term sustainable state of the tracks and sidings without unwanted vegetation. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
