ARTE est une chaîne de télévision culturelle européenne disponible en français et allemand sur la TNT, le câble, le satellite, la télévision par XDSL et internet.
ARTE dispose de liaisons permanentes depuis Strasbourg avec les sites en France (Paris) et en Allemagne (Francfort). ARTE GEIE souhaite renouveler ce marché.
Ces liaisons servent à la diffusion des programmes d'ARTE vers les têtes de réseaux de diffusion, à l'échange de signaux audiovisuels avec des sites de productions audiovisuels et à l'interconnexion de réseaux informatiques.
