The measures are located around 1 km north-west of Goldisthal village, in the middle of the Thuringia Forest. The areas to be processed show strong terrain differences and are in some cases very difficult to reach, especially those located in the forest. The main services include felling of spruce of different ages for the excavation of forest land, as well as wood removals on mountain meadows; Removal of woody young trees approx. 1.4 ha; Hedges and scrub grubbing-up approx. 0.9 ha). In addition, ligneous plants in the open country (about 19000 shrubs and more than 2000 heaters) and forest subplants (nearly 2000 forest plants) are provided for with appropriate protection measures.
