Swedacs verksamhet omfattar såväl bedömning inför ackreditering, ändring av ackreditering som tillsyn av ackrediterade organ. Vid dessa bedömningar avropar Swedac uppdrag från externa experter som kan bidra med sin tekniska kompetens vid granskningen av de ackrediterade organen. Swedac kommer att upphandla en ”pool” av experter för avrop av uppdrag inom flera områden. Bedömningar sker både där det ackrediterade organets verksamhet bedrivs men också på distans.
