Description

The profile school forms the school centre with the canteen and the sports hall as well as the sports facilities. It was built between 1963 and 1971, extended several times and used for a long time by a secondary school. With the end of the secondary school on 31.7.2016, the new form of school (profile school) uses the former buildings. In order to concentrate the profile school location in Ascheberg, the former secondary school in Herben is abandoned. For this purpose, the existing buildings must be expanded, rebuilt and renovated. The new site will consist of three buildings (house A (2), house B (3) and house C (1)) plus a light-weight farm building. House A (2) will be a renovated existing building after completion of the measure, House C (1) and House B (3) each a new building.
