Description

The city of Schortens intends to expand the fire station in Accum in a sustainable wooden frame construction. Since its construction in 1989, the fire station at Accum, Wilhelmshavener Straße 1A, has been used as a base for the voluntary fire brigade of the city of Schortens. Over the years, the prevention of hazards and accidents has resulted in rules and regulations that, in addition to the building regulations, have changed in the case of a new and conversion of fire brigade buildings and must be observed. The current building consists of two staggered parts, the total dimensions are about 29 x 17 m. On the ground floor there is the vehicle hall with three parking spaces including the changing rooms, storage and sanitary rooms as well as an office of the volunteer fire brigade. Upstairs there is a training room with a kitchenette and a separate living unit. The building is built in solid construction with load-bearing masonry walls and a floor ceiling made of reinforced concrete. In the vehicle hall there are massive reinforced concrete frames that stiffen the building part. The roof constructions are created as a pipe roof in wooden construction. The load is removed into the building ground by means of a base plate with circumferential strip foundations. In the outdoor area, the arrival and departure routes are in the exit route of the emergency vehicles and can cross. In the future, these must be arranged in such a way that the emergency services can move in and out safely. The existing parking spaces of the fire-fighting vehicles keep the distance dimensions in the vehicle hall. The changing rooms for the operational clothing are currently located in the vehicle hall. In the future, they will have to be housed in separate rooms. The very large vehicle hall (at least +7°C) is currently heated up to approx. 22 °C according to DIN 14092-1 for the emergency services and their clothing and shows a very high energy consumption. A functional and state-of-the-art exhaust system is available. The old spatial structures in the buildings do not correspond to the sustainable concept of a modern fire brigade. A black-and-white separation through the existing locker room is currently not possible, so the dirty emergency clothing has contact with the private clothing. This no longer corresponds to the state of the art. Here, new locker lockers are absolutely necessary so that a clear separation can take place. There is currently no separation of the women's and men's changing rooms and must be carried out in the case of an extension. In addition, the fire brigade helmets are to be mounted after use to store so that a drying can take place. In principle, no more lockers can be set up in the inventory, because the space required is not sufficient. Thus, no more forces can be taken in, because simply no locker is available. The existing training room in the attic is no longer sufficient for the number of members. The fire brigade needs plan stipulates that a logistics vehicle must be procured for the city of Schortens. The GW-L vehicle receives the Accum location for tactical reasons. Here a new hall parking space is necessary. If necessary, a Dekon P vehicle will be purchased in the near future, a second hall parking space must also be planned for this purpose. The existing two trailers will be parked in a new shelter. The number of available parking spaces on site is less than the number of seats on the vehicles. There are currently 14 parking spaces available, so that some must be parked in the second row. The new parking space is sufficiently sized with about 38 parking spaces. The storage possibilities on site are very limited and can no longer be extended in the existing rooms. In addition, the building envelope is on the energy level from 1989. According to the building age, there is a refurbishment and modernization jam from an energy and construction point of view. The electrical, heating and sanitary facilities no longer meet today's structural, energy and safety requirements. In addition, sound insulation and room acoustics in many areas of the buildings are to be assessed as deficient. The computer network is also inadequate and is largely ensured by a Wi-Fi connection. Due to these structural defects, the building causes comparatively high operating costs (repairs, energy consumption). The condition in need of remediation and the drafted fire brigade needs plan has given rise to a feasibility study. With this study or "phase" 0, the city of Schortens has independently developed the feasibility for determining the most economical solution. Taking into account the fire brigade's space requirements concept, the administration has compared various examination variants with area proofs, planning documents and cost estimates. The construction costs (KG 200 - 700) are currently estimated at around EUR 2.3 million gross. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
