Description

The operational installations of the Ariane Launch Unit No 3 have lifts spread over 3 zones (BIL – BAF – ZL) and allow operators to access the various levels and to transport the necessary equipment and equipment to the various integration and preparation areas of the Ariane 5 Lanceur.
These lifts are very busy and can no longer ensure the transport of persons and the handling of equipment in the current state.
To this end, compliance and necessary adaptations should be made in order to comply with the AES (Safety of existing lifts) regulations.
The lifts concerned are:
— BIL – 1 lift,
Dock integration – 2 200 kg/29 people,
— BAF – 3 lifts (2 + 1 optional),
Composite hall – 2 200 kg/29 people.
Clean zone Hall composite – 1 000 kg/13 persons.
Clean zone Hall encapsulation – 320.
— ZL3-1 lift,
Tower Cazes – 1 000 kg/13 people.
