Description

The Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Bundeswehr Hamburg (HSU/UniBw H) is one of two universities of the Bundeswehr. It qualifies its students for military and civilian leadership positions through academic education. On 11 August 2020, the HSU/UniBw H founded a new "Center for Digitalisation and Technology Research of the Bundeswehr" (dtec.bw). dtec.bw is part of the Federal Government's economic stimulus programme to overcome the COVID-19 crisis and is equipped with research funds from the economic stimulus programme via the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg). dtec.bw is funded by the European Union - NextGe-nerationEU. As part of the dtec.bw project "Digital Material Manufaktur" ("DMF"), HSU/UniBw H intends to acquire a "Scanning Sample Microscope" (SPM) for the analysis of surface structures with maximum surface sensitivity. The object of the contract is the delivery, installation and commissioning of a scanning sample microscope. In addition, the contractor must instruct the client on site in the SPM. At the separate request of HSU/UniBw H, the contractor must also supply, install and commission an Atomic Force Microscopy module compatible with the SPM (right of option 1). At the client's separate request, the contractor must also deliver a vacuum transfer system compatible with the offered SPM (right of option 2). Furthermore, at the request of the contracting authority, the contractor must provide services and maintenance for a period of at least one year (maximum three times available, whereby the HSU/UniBw H may also retrieve the option if it did not retrieve the option in the previous year) (right of option 3). Details of the service and the technical requirements are set out in the tender specifications (Annex 1 to the contract, Annex 2 to the procurement documents).
