Description

We are making Hämeenlinna the best public buyer in Finland! Therefore, we want our potential future acquisition as described in this market survey to be the best in Finland. To do this, we need actors who value an honest and open dialogue with the contracting entity, who enjoy competition and who want to represent the top of their field. This is a market survey in accordance with the new Finnish Procurement Act. All the information in this market survey is preliminary, so it does not bind the City of Hämeenlinna in any way. The City of Hämeenlinna is mapping out service providers on the market that could provide occupational health services. The call for tenders for occupational health services is expected to take place in the first half of 2027 and the contract period will begin in early 2028. The City of Hämeenlinna is looking for a partner for occupational health services to provide preventive and limited medical services for approximately 1,900 people in occupational health care. The service package focuses on preventive occupational health care, the aim of which is to support the personnel's work ability, well-being and continuing at work. In addition, occupational health care is expected to cooperate actively and effectively with the line managers in the implementation of the working capacity, well-being and early support operating models of the personnel. The City strives for a genuine partnership in which services are developed together in an effective, cost-effective and responsive manner to the needs of the operating environment. Special focus areas are prevention, early identification and effective treatment of mental health disorders and musculoskeletal disorders. The estimated annual volume of occupational health services is approximately EUR 1-1.5 million. Interested entities are invited to express their interest in participating in a potential procurement through the Tender Service Portal. Responding to the market prospection is not a condition for participating in any subsequent invitation to tender. Registrations are requested by 23.10.2026 at 16.00. OTHER INFORMATION This is neither a call for tenders nor a contract notice, so the publication of this notice does not open a call for tenders but is a market prospection. This notice does not oblige the City of Hämeenlinna to carry out the actual procurement. Failure to respond to a market prospection shall not prevent participation in a possible invitation to tender and shall in no way affect the position of the tenderer in a possible invitation to tender. The City of Hämeenlinna does not pay any compensation for responding to the market prospection or for participating in the market prospection and market dialogue.
