Il s'agit d'exploiter, dans le cadre d'un contrat de service public attribué après mise en concurrence, le service du lot Bourgogne Ouest Nivernais correspondant à la mise en oeuvre de circulations commerciales ferroviaires et routières suivantes d'un volume annuelglobal de 4,7 millions de trains-kilomètres (23 % de l'offre régionale) : .Dessertes intervilles (Dijon-Nevers / Lyon - Paray-le-Monial - Nevers).Dessertes périurbaines (Dijon - Chalon-sur-Saône - Mâcon) .Dessertes locales (Moulins - Paray-le-Monial / Montchanin - Paray-le-Monial /Montchanin - Chalon-sur-Saône / Montchanin - Etang-sur-Arroux / Nevers - Cosne-sur-Loire / Nevers - Decize - Nevers - Moulins / Etang - Autun).Le lot se verra affectée de 23 matériels automoteurs bi-mode BOMBARDIER (diesel et électrique 1500 volts continus) dont 12 de type BGC 4 caisses, 11 de type BGC 3 caisses et 19 matériels automoteurs thermiques monocaisses (diesel) de type ALSTOM X73500.
