Description

The existing Main Bridge Marktbreit (construction year 1982, bridge class 60, BASt list 0548A or BY077A) must be replaced by a new construction because of the poor construction condition (status mark 3.0) and the results of the recalculation.
The Mainbrücke Marktbreit is a feature of the nearby localities of Sgnitz and Marktwide. The new bridge should fit as far as possible into the Main valley (wine construction on the valley slopes, long-distance cycle path, passenger cabin navigation). The aim is therefore to ensure that new replacements are designed and technically sound.
