The LZN is responsible for procuring goods and services for the direct administration of Lower Saxony (cf. § 2 of the LZN’s operating instructions). With the approval of its supervisory authority, the LZN may assume further tasks for public-law stakeholders within and outside the Land administration of Lower Saxony as well as for private-law companies wholly owned by the public authorities (cf. § 3 Operating Instructions). In this jurisdiction, the contract includes the conclusion of a framework agreement with a company (Section 21 VgV) for the supply of firefighting group vehicles LF 20 KatS. At least 22 LF 20 KatS firefighting group vehicles are procured. During the entire contract period of 48 months, a maximum of 98 units can be added, so a maximum of 120 vehicles will be called up in total. All services of the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior and Sport (MI) and the Lower Saxony State Office for Fire and Disaster Protection (NLBK), as well as the providers of fire protection and assistance in Lower Saxony pursuant to § 1 of the NBrandSchG, are entitled to call. More details on the nature and scope of the contract can be found in the Tender Specifications - Technical Part (Part B) and in Annex 1 "Tenderer's specifications" and Annex 2 "Loading list".
