Description

The velvet community of Lachendorf intends to realise a new town hall building for the administrative building with a usable area of around 2.170 m² in close proximity to the location of the existing town hall. The competition also includes the redesign of the outdoor facilities in an order of around 5.380 m² (realisation area) using the location potentials at the edge of the Gänsemarsch nature reserve. In the sense of idea-finding, conceptual statements must also be made regarding the functional and creative connection to the inner-local environment (area of observation). With the process of a realisation competition, the aim is to find the best architectural, urban, functional and economic solution for the building project to be implemented as well as the design of the open-air and traffic facilities (realisation area) on the basis of the competition results.
