Czech Republic-Prague: Repair and maintenance services of rolling stock
The subject-matter of this contract is the supply of up to 55 new locomotives under the terms of the contracting authority, the terms of the invitation, the tender documents and other annexes to those documents. The contract is divided into lots:
(a) Supply of up to 50 new electric interoperable locomotives (‘MS locomotives’) according to the technical specification set out in Annex 1 to the Tender Documentation;
(b) Supply of up to 5 new interoperable diesel locomotives (‘DS locomotives’) according to the technical specification set out in Annex 2 to the Tender Document.
The contracting authority assumes that each of the lots of the contract may be implemented by another supplier. Tenderers shall submit a tender specifying the lot in which they submit their tender. For each of the lots, the Tenderer shall submit a separate tender and provide evidence of qualification. The locomotives will be new, or at a maximum age of 1 year, and the contracting authority will become their first operator and user by handing them over to the contracting authority.
The contract will be financed through financial leasing.
