Description

Zur Erreichung der Berliner Klimaziele dient das Berliner Energie- und Klimaschutzprogramm (BEK 2030). Das aktuelle BEK 2030 umfasst Strategien und Maßnahmen für einen Umsetzungszeitraum von 2017 bis 2021. Für den Umsetzungszeitraum 2022 bis 2026 bedarf es der Weiterentwicklung des BEK 2030, dabei sind die neuen Klimaziele zu berücksichtigen, d. h. die erforderlichen Strategien und Maßnahmen müssen neu definiert und beschrieben werden. Darüber hinaus sind sowohl die Ergebnisse der Berliner Machbarkeitsstudie „Berlin Paris-konform machen“ (Vorlage voraussichtlich Mai 2021) als auch die geänderten Rahmenbedingungen auf EU- und Bundesebene im Bereich der Energie- und Klimaschutzpolitik sowie die einschlägigen Studien auf Bundesebene mit dem Ziel der Klimaneutralität zu berücksichtigen. Wichtige Grundlage sind die Ergebnisse und Empfehlungen aus der Evaluierung des aktuellen Programms für den Umsetzungszeitraum 2017 bis 2021.
