The project proposes actions on 3 important levels in order to increase the resilience capacity of the pre-university education units, namely to support the digital transformation of schools belonging to the VET network and to facilitate online learning, through investments in digital infrastructures for teaching and digital tools for teaching and equipping the practice workshops of these VET units (i13 and i14), to provide the necessary infrastructure and technological resources for the pre-university education units, allowing students access to technology through dedicated IT laboratories and equipment (i9) and to provide the necessary facilities to meet the quality standards in the classrooms and in the school laboratories/workshops (i11). In this context, the MUNICIPALITY OF MIERCUREA CIUC continues, through this acquisition, the investments provided for in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, through the purchase of school furniture necessary for the educational units included in the project. Within the territory of Miercurea-Ciuc, 20 educational units with legal personality were included in the project, aiming to increase their resilience capacity by modernizing the educational infrastructure and related facilities. Within the project there are several development opportunities for educational institutions, such as: • classrooms (furniture + digital equipment); • Computer labs (furniture + digital equipment); • School laboratories (furniture + teaching materials + digital equipment); • school cabinets (furniture + teaching materials + digital equipment); • workshops (teaching materials and equipment and digital equipment); The products covered by this procurement must correspond to the intended use of the products laid down in product standards or industry technical rules as regards raw materials, materials and be authorised for such uses.
