Description

The subject of this procedure is the procurement of goods – electricity supply for a period of 12 accounting months from the conclusion of individual contracts or from the inclusion of metering points in the supplier’s balance sheet group by the relevant system operator, in all respects in accordance with the technical characteristics and other conditions set out in this Procurement Document. The contracting authority conducts a green public procurement procedure and requires that at least 50% of the total electricity to be delivered by the selected tenderer be produced from renewable energy sources (so-called "green energy"). In order to stimulate the production of energy from renewable sources, to make it more competitive with energy obtained from conventional sources and to encourage the construction of new sources of renewable energy and to achieve sustainable development, the Contracting Authority has determined that electricity must contain the above-mentioned minimum percentage of electricity from renewable sources. Renewable energy sources are renewable non-fossil energy sources, i.e. wind, solar, aerothermal, geothermal and hydrothermal energy, marine energy, watercourse energy, biomass energy, landfill gas, sewage treatment plant gas and biogas (Electricity Market Act, NN Nos 111/21, 83/23 and 17/25). In order to confirm the fulfilment of the conditions on the origin of electricity, the selected bidder will be obliged to submit to the Contracting Authority, upon delivery of electricity, a certificate on the origin of electricity in accordance with the Methodology for Determining the Origin of Electricity (NN Nos 133/14 and 127/19).
