Purchase of used hook lifts
Ofoten Fire and Rescue IKS (OBRIKS) aims to strengthen fire safety in its area of responsibility through the procurement of a used hook lifts. This hook lift will primarily be used for transporting a water tank and other stand-by material. The procurement is financed with grants, which implies limitations in both the economic framework and timeline. In order to ensure sufficient capacity within these frameworks and operation, it is necessary to procure a used hook lifts that fit the company ́s portfolio. The hook lifter must meet the following main requirements: ● It shall be possible to be put directly into stand-by. ● Hook lifts with high ground clearance ● Low cabin ● Air springing at the front and back ● Opticruise and retarder ● Sleeves, hydraulics and electricity for a 25 tonne crane. ● 24T hook lift ● Ryggekamera ● Hydraulics at the back of the vehicle ● Extra duomatic at the back of the vehicle for air controlled enhancement OBRIKS has identified a suitable Scania R580B8x4*4NB hook lifter for Thune. This unit fulfils our specifications and will cover our needs within the allocated resources. After a market check, OBRIKS has not found equivalent available alternatives. OBRIKS therefore intends to enter into a contract with Thune for the procurement of this hook lifter.
