Description

Deze overheidsopdracht heeft betrekking op de ophaling, het transport en de verwerking van houtafval categorie A en B afkomstig van de recyclageparken en de huis-aan-huis inzameling binnen het werkingsgebied van de opdrachtgever. Houtafval categorie A omvat onbehandeld hout, terwijl categorie B behandeld of geverfd hout betreft dat niet als gevaarlijk afval wordt beschouwd. De selectieve inzameling van deze fracties is essentieel om een correcte recyclage of energetische valorisatie mogelijk te maken en om vermenging met andere afvalstromen te vermijden. De verwerking van houtafval dient te gebeuren overeenkomstig de geldende milieureglementering en in installaties die daartoe vergund zijn. Door een afzonderlijke ophaling en verwerking van categorie A en B wordt een optimale materiaal- of energierecuperatie nagestreefd, in lijn met het geldende materialenbeleid en de recyclagedoelstellingen. De opdracht bestaat derhalve uit: Perceel 1: Ophaling, transport en de verwerking van houtafval categorie A Perceel 2: Ophaling, transport en de verwerking van houtafval categorie B De huidige regeling voor deze afvalstroom loopt af op 31 december 2026. Met het oog op de continuïteit van de dienstverlening en de naleving van de wettelijke verplichtingen wordt een nieuwe overheidsopdracht opgestart met ingang van 1 januari 2027.
